I was privileged to be a member of Toastmasters of Manchester for almost two years. I have grown as a Speaker, Leader, Father, Husband, and person more than I ever thought possible. I joined because I identified a need in my career to develop my public speaking skills. Little did I know at the time how much this club would benefit all aspects of my life. From my first meeting, the humor, the encouragement, the sense of family was incredible.

Almost everyday, I call upon my Toastmasters training or words from a speech come up in conversation. I recommend Toastmasters of Manchester to anyone who feels a need to grow. This Club will instill confidence and a sense of achievement to anyone who joins. Take the first step! Make a call, come to a meeting, watch Toastmasters Monthly on Manchester local access channel 23. Go to Toastmasters.org and click on " find a club". Do what it takes, but don't let this chance pass you by! To be able to stand in front of a group, no matter how large, and enjoy the experience is a wonderful feeling. Take the fear out of public speaking and replace it with joy!
